Ribbon Cutting held for New Aquatics Center
New Smithfield Recreation & Aquatic Center Opens
After years of planning and collaboration between the Town of Smithfield and the Johnston County Board of Education, the new Smithfield Recreation & Aquatic Center has opened. This 70,000 square foot facility will be a multi-purpose building for the Smithfield Parks & Recreation Department and the school system.
